the red sox game was awesome. 9th inning walk-off win. kickass. i’m exhausted. i have some horrible pictures.. *DISCLAIMER* my camera screen is smashed.. hence i have no idea what i’m taking pictures of, so lots of stuff is cut off and the settings are all kinds of crazy.

the obligatory steve driving picture.. on our way to fenway!!

blurry seitan sandwich..mmm.. lots of miso mayo.. mmm…

such rad seats.. so freaking close.. although the pictures make it look further away..

the annoying guy in front of steve… way too tall to be at a game.

the annoying woman in front of me. okay well. she wasn’t annoying, but they did keep standing up and really obnoxious times.

ew. i look gross in all that light. yucko.

my beloved jason varitek catching for daisuke

the view of fenway from atop the parking garage..

us being silly in the parking garage waiting ten years to get out of it..

overall it was a great little trip. it was pretty cold at the game, but those seats were totally worth freezing for. visiting boston is always a bittersweet thing for me. i lived there for almost 5 years and i miss it. probably some of the best days of my life. and the one place i feel at home. i’ve lived all over and never felt as comfortable as when i lived in boston. the air feels differnt there for me. i get so excited when we’re at the newton tolls.. and as we get closer to the city.. and i get so sad when we leave. as we were headed home, i turned around.. steve asked what i was looking at.. i said.. boston. i thought of a lot more poignant ways of describing boston last night while i was intermittently nodding off.

alice is doing better.. still not good, but better. i finally talked to the vet, she’s a moron, prescribed prednisone. not sure about that. i’m gonna see what happens, if she continues to get better.. i think the traveling vet needs to retire. she’s 9000 and seems not to know anything. sigh.

I got to visit boston last summer and LOVED it! I’m glad you got to go visit, especially when things aren’t all going the way you want them to. Your kitty is pretty and I hope she gets to feeling better.

You saw my Jays play! I’m jealous. Looks like it was a great game.

Hope your kitty feels better soon.
